The JCC MetroWest in West Orange invites members of the greater community to an open house featuring both indoor and outdoor activities on Sunday, September 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It’s an opportunity to experience all the J has to offer, and will be organized with the health and safety of all in mind.
Events for all generations include adult fitness classes (cycle, strength, mind/body cardio, TRX), family fitness classes (yoga, stretch, Pilates), and a family swim party, a chamber music concert with Amit Peled and Noreen Cassidy-Polera, and children’s games and entertainment including an interactive performance from Jay Jay the Bubble Guy.
The new Goldstein Israel Center and the renamed Sharon & Stephen Seiden Early Childhood Center, made available to the community through generous donations from Joyce Goldstein and Sharon and Stephen Seiden, will be dedicated that day.
A one-day membership special will be in effect, with a $0 initiation fee and the month of December free, a savings of up to $400.
“We are thrilled to welcome the greater MetroWest community to our J to show all the fulfilling ways to be part of our family,” Katy Strulson, the JCC’s director of community engagement and development, said. “We are a community of communities, and are proud to have a diverse membership base of all ages, abilities, orientations, races and religions.
“We encourage you to come and check us out, get healthy and have fun. We are back and better than ever!”
