Jean M. Gold (Parker), 86, of East Brunswick died May 6, 2018. She was born and raised in Boston.
She graduated from University of Massachusetts in 1953.
Mrs. Gold worked as a social worker, bookkeeper, and in a yarn shop, where she enjoyed teaching knitting to customers. She also had worked at Israel Bonds.
She was a longtime member of Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple, New Brunswick.
Predeceased by her husband of 41 years, A. Melvin, she is survived by two sons, Jeffrey (Donna Mancuso) and Stephen (Cindy); her daughter, Vivian (Eric Reinders); two sisters; and two grandsons.
Services were held May 9 with arrangements by Belkoff-Goldstein Funeral Chapel, Lakewood. Memorial contributions may be made to East Brunswick Friends of the Library.
