JEWISH FAMILY SERVICE
JEWISH FAMILY SERVICE of MetroWest (JFS) will offer a support group for teens experiencing depression and anxiety. Facilitated by Robyn Krugman, LCSW, JFS coordinator of adolescent services, the group will meet at its Florham Park offices on Tuesdays, 6-7 p.m., starting Jan. 9.
Participating teens will have the opportunity to share experiences in a safe and supportive setting. They will learn to communicate their needs and challenges, use meditation and mindfulness, manage anxious thoughts, increase awareness of feelings, and incorporate techniques to reduce anxiety.
To register, contact Krugman at 973-765-9050, ext. 1749, or rkrugman@jfsmetrowest.org or visit jfsmetrowest.org.
