REPRESENTATIVES OF 23 partner organizations of Jewish Federation in the Heart of New Jersey met Sept. 23 at the federation’s South River offices to meet with the allocations committee.
Federation executive director Susan Antman welcomed those gathered. “I hope you get to hear what your contemporaries do in the community and all the synergies within the community,” she said.
Forming connections among organizations and building support for each other “makes you stronger and the federation stronger.”
The organizations attending included diverse entities such as the Jewish Community Center of Middlesex County in Edison, the Center for Holocaust, Human Rights & Genocide Education at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, the Axelrod Performing Arts Center in Deal Park, Rutgers Hillel, and the Jewish Family Services of Middlesex County and Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Monmouth County.
