JFS book club names May selection
Jewish Family Service of MetroWest NJ and the Rachel Coalition, JFS’s anti-domestic violence division, will host the next book club discussion online on Tuesday, May 9, at 7 p.m.
The book is the international bestseller “Women Talking” by Miriam Toews. The discussion will be facilitated by Myrna Wertheimer, who has a long history of advocacy for victims of domestic violence.
Many popular books raise issues connected to domestic violence, sexual assault, dating abuse, and stalking. The goal is to engage community members to the work done at JFS and Rachel Coalition while providing education on domestic violence and other related topics.
