Jewish Family Service of MetroWest NJ volunteers delivered 105 Pesach packages and meals to homebound older adults and Holocaust survivors throughout Essex, Morris, and Northern Union counties on April 11. This was in time for community members to celebrate Passover with the traditional foods and essential items they would need.

The JFS packages donated by the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ, included cleaning supplies, macaroons, potato starch, a matzah ball soup kit, tuna fish, grape juice, and matzah squares. An additional 150 holiday meals with traditional Passover dishes including brisket with gravy, health salad, tzimmes, broccoli, and macaroons, were provided through the generosity of a private donor.

JFS is committed to supporting older adults and Holocaust survivors in the community by providing essential services, holiday meals, and social connection.
