JFS dinner is set for December 12
Jewish Family Service of Central New Jersey will hold its gala dinner on Tuesday, December 12, at 6 p.m., at the Crystal Plaza in Livingston. It is JFSCNJ’s main fundraiser, which supports programs serving the Union County community. Programs include mental health, homecare, Keeping Older Adults Safe, and food insecurity.
Danny Matarese of Marlboro, the president of Danco General Contracting, Inc.; Carol and Michael Kurtz of Livingston; Gerri Rothfleisch of Westfield; and Kimberly Palmieri-Mouded of Westfield, vice chair of the Union County Board of County Commissioners, will be honored for their contributions to the agency and the community. Marty Axelrad, Seth Huttel, Dana Langerman, and Meir Levi will receive awards for their work with the JFSCNJ Charlotte Shak Food Pantry.
Bill Spadea, a radio personality from New Jersey 101.5, will be a guest speaker.
David Brooks, Mark L. Ginsberg, Toby Goldberger, Michael H. Gottlieb, Eric Harvitt, Jennifer Marshall Sofield, Donald Shapiro, Sherry and Henry Stein, Peter Till, Esq., Arielle Traub, and Mark Wilf, are on the dinner committee. Sponsors are listed on the dinner website and will be acknowledged on the program’s Scroll of Honor.
