JFS MetroWest NJ annual meeting

Jewish Family Service of MetroWest NJ hosts its annual meeting on June 17, at 7 p.m., in Whippany. Andrea G. Bier will be honored as outgoing president and Steven J. Glass as incoming president, and new officers will be installed.

In accordance with JFS MetroWest bylaws, the following people have been elected to assume leadership as trustees on the board.

President: Steven J. Glass of West Orange. Vice-presidents: Shari Brandt, Pamela Davis, and Carrie Nussbaum, all of Short Hills, and Michael Elchoness of Livingston. Treasurer: Pamela Fishman of Short Hills. Secretary: Rachel Goodman Wilf of Short Hills.

Presidential appointments: Amy Black of Short Hills, Andrea G. Bier of West Orange, immediate past president. Past presidential appointments: Nancy Eskow and Marion Medow, both of Livingston, and Melanie Levitan of Morristown.

Nominated for an initial two-year term ending June 2026: Elizabeth Bier of Caldwell. Shari Brandt and Emily Neider, both of Short Hills, and Stephen Weinstein of North Caldwell, are nominated for a first three-year term, ending June 2027.

Amy Black, Pamela Davis, and Sandi Z. Rosenbaum, all of Short Hills, Seth Cohen and Michael Elchoness, both of Livingston, and A. Gary Katz of Caldwell are nominated for a second three-year term, ending June 2028.

Pam Fishman, Steven J. Glass, Eta Levenson, Michael Levinson, Lisa Lindauer, Jed Marcus, Carrie Nussbaum, Lawrence Rein, and Mark Roffman are trustees continuing in their terms on the board. Alan Cohen, Fred Cohen, Linda Jacobs, Peter Sayre, Jeffrey Shapiro, and David Sorkin are retiring from or rotating off the board.

Eta Levenson chairs the JFS nominating committee, with members Andrea G. Bier, Steven Glass, Seth Cohen, Melanie Levitan, Stephen Weinstein, and Rachel Goodman Wilf.
