JFS of Central NJ, a non-sectarian health and social service organization, begins “Harnessing the Power of Change.” It’s a free, six-session online support program for 30- to 45-year-old women, set to start on Tuesday, March 7, at 6 p.m., timed to coincide with the celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8. Subsequent programs are March 14, 21, and 28, and April 4 and 11.

The group’s facilitators, Cara Bloom and Anna Zubets, said that the group will explore various life changes women in that age cohort might experience, including in relationship status, birth of a child, a recent loss, transitioning to a new job, or adapting to life during covid-19.

Ms. Bloom and Ms. Zubets work under the direction of JFSCNJ psychotherapists Elaine T. Dill and Nancy Rosenthal.

Cara Bloom is working toward a master’s degree in social work at Kean University. Anna Zubets, a certified professional life coach, is working toward that same degree at Fordham University.

JFS of Central NJ provides a wide array to services to more than 10,000 people a year. For more information, go to jfscentralnj.org, or call (908) 352-8375.
