Joan Zimmer

Joan Zimmer, 77, of Boynton Beach, Fla., died Feb. 14, 2011. She was born in Newark and lived in Monmouth Beach for 10 years before moving to Boynton Beach 10 years ago.

She is survived by her husband, Bernard; two sons, Jeffrey Ostroff of Warren and Jonathan Ostroff of Somerville; her stepdaughter, Susan Zimmer-Bergman of New York City; and five grandchildren.

Services were held Feb. 17 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean.
