JSDD offers enabling technology webinar series
MetroWest’s Jewish Services for the Developmentally Disabled will integrate enabling technology into its residential settings, and it offers three free educational upcoming webinars to educate and inform the public about the growing uses of enabling technology. The new technology will help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities gain more independence.
JSDD is dedicated to supporting a full quality of life in its residents and participants in the WAE Center, a holistic learning program for people with developmental disabilities.
On Wednesday, February 7, at 7 p.m., the topic will be “Building Independence and Safety at Home.” On Thursday, March 7, it will be “Building Independence with Routines and Drop-in Supports,” and the third, on Thursday, April 4, is “Building Independence through Task Prompting and Social Supports.”
Participants must register; they’ll get a Zoom link. Email LifeHomeTech@jsdd.org or go to for more information.www.JSDDLifeHomeTech.org
