Ladies Night Out in Short Hills
More than 50 women gathered in honor of Rosh Chodesh Adar — the start of the month of Adar — celebrating unity, heritage, and resilience.
The evening offered highlights of the Jewish heritage from communities in Argentina, Azerbaijan, Israel, London, and Uzbekistan. Women shared family recipes, cooked traditional dishes, and engaged in hands-on crafts.
“In today’s world, where Jewish communities face growing challenges, moments like these provide an essential sense of unity and belonging,” Chana Solomon, the codirector of Chabad at Short Hills, said.
The next Ladies Night Out will be for Rosh Chodesh Nissan. It’s on March 31, and will include wine, cheese, and Passover preparations.
