Laura Applebaum
Laura Applebaum (Max), 86, of Lakewood died Feb. 9, 2013. Born and raised in Newark, she had also lived in Maplewood.
Predeceased by her husband, George, she is survived by three sons, Robert (Barbara) of Rockaway, Ira (Carol) of Phoenix, Ariz., and Saul (Phyllis) of St. Mary’s, Ga.; a sister, Selma Freda of Florida; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 13 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to Van Dyke Hospice, 99 Route 37W, Toms River, NJ 08755.
