Lee Stein Fast, 92, of Encinitas, Calif., died Sept. 1, 2012. She had lived in Newark.

Mrs. Fast attended South Side High School, Newark, where she was voted best dancer.

She was a performer at Elving’s Metropolitan Yiddish Theater in Newark.

Predeceased by her husband, Dave, and her son, Robert, she is survived by two daughters, Barbara Hirshman and Susan Fast; two sisters; Pauline Miller and Sarah Doppelt; and three grandsons.
