Lee Saias Nissim
Lee Saias Nissim, 88, of Maplewood died Nov. 3, 2010. Born in New York City, she was a resident of Bordentown for 38 years and also lived in Pompano Beach, Fla.
Mrs. Nissim was an active member and fundraiser for many years at Temple B’nai Abraham in Bordentown and a member of Greenacres Country Club, Lawrenceville.
She was proud of her Sephardi-Jewish heritage and passed down many recipes to her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Marcel; two sons, Jeffrey of Bordentown and Jules of West Orange, formerly of Millburn; her daughter, Barbara Streisfeld of Hartsdale, NY; her brother, Albert Saias of Ossining, NY; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 5 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to Sarah Seidel Sisterhood, PO Box 245, Bordentown, NJ 08505.
