Lenore Beckerman
Lenore Beckerman (Goldman), 85, of Boca Raton, Fla., died Aug. 15, 2017. Born in Brooklyn, she was raised in Newark and lived in West Orange and Short Hills before moving to Florida in 2015.
Mrs. Beckerman worked as an interior designer in Manhattan and New Jersey for 40 years.
She graduated from Weequahic High School, Newark, in 1949 and the New York School of Fashion Design.
She was a member of Temple B’nai Jeshurun and a Lion of Judah and Lester Society member of Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ. She was a member of Cedar Hill Country Club and Boca West Country Club.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, David; her son, Jeffrey (Wendy) of Short Hills; her daughter, Suzanne of Menlo Park, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.
Memorial services were held in Florida on Aug. 23. Memorial contributions may be made to any Alzheimer’s charity.
