Leon Rynar
Leon Rynar, 94, of Verona died Feb. 15, 2018. Born in Newark, he lived in Livingston before moving to Verona in 2004.
Mr. Rynar was an account executive with Vector Engineering in Springfield.
He and his wife both received their bachelor of arts degrees from Montclair State University in 2001.
He served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force in the Pacific campaign.
He was a founding member of Temple Emanu-El in Livingston.
Predeceased by his wife, Roslyn, he is survived by two sons, James (Susan) of Florham Park and Craig (Jennifer Giordano) of Montville; three daughters, Betsy (Ron) Ladell of Livingston, Lynn (Monte Miller) of Connecticut, and Bonnie (Yukio Otsubo) of Roseland; 12 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Services were held Feb. 18 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
