Leonard Fane
Leonard L. Fane, 96, of Boca Raton, Fla., died Aug. 22, 2019. He was the youngest and last surviving member of eight children from the Finestein family who were originally from Somerville and then resided in the Plainfield area as members of the “Finestein Family Circle.”
Mr. Fane was a stockbroker in Plainfield at LL Fane and Company.
He graduated from Montclair State College.
Predeceased by his wife, Carol (Lerner), he is survived by two daughters, Joan (Harlan Jay) Sicherman and Susan (Richard) Feldman; his companion, Shirley Greenfield; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 25 with arrangements by Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, Delray Beach, Fla. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
