Leonia synagogue to host ‘Bagels & Lox with Loretta’

Loretta Weinberg, who served as a member of the New Jersey Senate (2005-22), and as Senate Majority Leader, will speak at a brunch in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Sunday, January 19, at 10:15 a.m. at Congregation Adas Emuno in Leonia.

Weinberg, a Democrat who represented Dist. 37, will speak about her involvement in efforts to promote civil rights and social justice.

Rabbi Barry Schwartz will introduce Weinberg and lead a Q&A, which will be moderated by Leonia Mayor Bill Ziegler.
