Lewis Ofsevit
Lewis Ofsevit of North Plainfield, formerly of Whippany, died July 19, 2011.
A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict, Mr. Ofsevit was president of Branville Construction in Fair Lawn prior to retiring in 1993.
Predeceased by his wife, Belle, he is survived by his partner, Harriette Carlough; daughter Alice Thomas of Whippany and son Alan of Baltimore; brother Stanley of Honolulu; and grandchildren Brian, Kate, and Matthew Thomas of Whippany.
Funeral services were held July 22 at Gutterman and Musicant in Hackensack. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice or Cancer Treatment Centers of America.
