Lillian Szerlip

Lillian Szerlip (Linett) of Short Hills died May 2, 2016. She moved to Millburn/Short Hills 69 years ago.

Mrs. Szerlip was a member of Congregation B’nai Israel in Millburn for the past 66 years and was a past sisterhood president. She was also past vice president of the Daughters of Israel Women’s League and a life member of Hadassah. She was a member of Cedar Hill Country Club since 1956.

Predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Herbert, she is survived by two sons, David and Robert; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

Services were held May 4 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston.
