Livingston congregants visit Yiddish Book Center in Massachusetts

Members of the Temple Beth Shalom of Livingston’s Talks & Treks group recently took an overnight trip to the Yiddish Book Center and the Eric Carle Museum in Amherst, Mass. In the top picture, the group listens to the Yiddish Book Center’s founder and president, Aaron Lansky, who founded the center as a 24-year-old graduate student in 1980. Mr. Lansky will retire at the end of the year.
