Livingston to honor its veterans
Livingston’s 36th annual Veterans Day program is set for Sunday,
November 12, at 11 a.m. The program, honoring all veterans, held in memory of Murray Sklar, a Marine Corps veteran of the battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa, will be at Temple Beth Shalom in Livingston.
This year, the program will honor everyone in Livingston with a spouse or parent who served in uniform. The award-winning documentary “Diversity in the Long Gray Line” will be shown, and there will be music by the United States Air Force Band and others.
Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill, a former U.S. Navy helicopter pilot, will add a video greeting.
