More than 300 people attended Shabbat morning services at Temple Beth Shalom of Livingston on June 28 to honor Cantor Perry Fine on his retirement after 13 years at the synagogue and 33 years as a cantor.

Cantor David Barash of Congregation Emanu-El B’nei Jeshurun of Milwaukee, Cantor Fine’s roommate at the Jewish Theological Seminary, flew in to join the celebration.

Since photography is not allowed on Shabbat, the above photo was taken on the afternoon of Friday, June 27, in the TBS Holocaust Garden.
