Lynda Knopf
Lynda W. Knopf (Watov), 75, of Doylestown, Pa., died Sept. 3, 2017. She was born in Trenton and later moved to California and New Hampshire before residing in Doylestown for 47 years.
Mrs. Knopf was a graduate of Pennsbury High School, class of 1959, where she was a field hockey champion and yearbook art editor, and Boston University School of Nursing, class of 1963, where she earned a bachelor of science in nursing. She was an R.N. at Princeton Hospital before her marriage.
In California, she worked at a nursing home before raising her family. In Doylestown, she volunteered at Kutz Elementary School, acted as a Cub Scout den mother, and served on the board of directors of Temple Judea. Later, she returned to her nursing career as a pharmaceutical marketing consultant and an office nurse and manager in a Doylestown physician’s practice before retiring.
She was an amateur oil painter.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ed; her children, Kevin and Kimberlee; a brother, Kenneth Watov; and three grandchildren.
