Manny Friedman
Manny (Emanuel) Lev Friedman, 28, of Lawrenceville died Aug. 7, 2015. He formerly lived in Springfield and Short Hills.
Mr. Friedman ran a pet care business, Pet Sitters At Home. While running his business, he also worked part-time at Colonial Lanes and volunteered with Too Many Games at their conventions in Philadelphia.
With a passion for caring for and rescuing animals of all kinds, he donated much of his time and money to numerous shelters and reserves.
He is survived by his parents, Susan Rich Friedman and Dr. Gary Friedman; a brother, Sam; a sister, Leah; his grandmothers, Pearl Rich and Rosalind Friedman; his aunts and uncles, Marcy and Marshall Pollack, Harvey Rich, and Amy Friedman; and many cousins and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to a foundation that has been established in his name, The Manny L. Friedman Foundation (mannyfriedman.org), which will donate funds to no-kill shelters and animal preserves.
