Marc Abramson
Marc G. Abramson, 77, of Hillsborough died July 9, 2019. He was born in Newark.
Mr. Abramson served as a parole officer in Essex County for 16 years before joining the family business, Safeway Tire Mart, with locations in Edison and Iselin. He retired 10 years ago after a long career.
He graduated from Weequahic High School in Newark and Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Millie (Schussler); two sons, Geoffrey of Hillsborough and Seth of Colorado; a sister, Gail Abramson-Lazarus of West Orange; and a brother, David of Santa Cruz, Calif.
Private services were held with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ruth and Leon Abramson Memorial Fund for Children at JCC MetroWest, West Orange.
