Marking Rebbetzin Schneerson’s yahrzeit and solidarity with Israel

Last week, the Bris Avrohom Center held a program to commemorate the yahrzeit of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka Schneerson. Tzivia Pizem, a Chabad shlucha in Sderot, Israel, offered details of the last four months, as she lived under fire at the border of Gaza, and talked about what Chabad did for the soldiers, the security personnel, and for the community. She encouraged the attendees to perform good deeds in honor of the rebbetzin.

Shterney Kanelsky started the program by reciting two chapters in Tehillim in honor of the rebbe and rebbetzin. The well-attended program was organized by a women’s committee, whose members prepared a buffet of salads and desserts.
