Martin Aksman
Martin Aksman, 94, of Monroe Township died Nov. 11, 2012. Born in Proskuriv, Russia, his family immigrated to the United States, settling in Brooklyn, where he resided until moving to Monroe 35 years ago.
Prior to retiring, Mr. Aksman was owner of Aksman & Aksman, an accounting firm in Freehold.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1944 to 1946.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Molly Krantz Aksman; two sons, Kenneth of Manalapan and Scott of Perrineville; his daughter, Linda Falconieri of Middletown, NY; a brother, Sol Axman of Boca Raton, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 14 with arrangements by Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick.
