Martin Lee
Martin Lee, 68, of Jerusalem died March 9, 2012. He grew up in Bayonne and lived in Asheville, NC, before moving to Israel in 2000.
Dr. Lee, a scientist in the field of medical laboratory testing, was the owner and CEO of Savyon Diagnostics in Ashdod, Israel. He also had been the owner of the Great Smokies Medical Laboratory in Asheville.
He received his BA and PhD from Rutgers University and a post doctorate from University of Wisconsin.
He is survived by his wife, Chavi; three daughters, Marissa of Jerusalem, Michelle Levine of Jerusalem and Tucson, Ariz., and Sharon Griffin of Portland, Ore.; two sisters, Ellen Bullock of Nes Ziona, Israel, and Emmy Hoffer of Springfield; and two granddaughters.
Services were held March 9.
