Marvin Stoloff
Marvin Harris Stoloff, 85, of Millburn died Aug. 10, 2017. He was born in Newark.
Mr. Stoloff established his own construction companies, Formative Construction and Structure Building Corp. For many years he was an officer of HOW and member of NJBA.
He graduated from Weequahic High School, Newark, in 1950. In high school, he was the southpaw fencing champion. He attended NCE.
He served in the Navy during the Korean War as a Tin Can Sailor.
He was a brother Mason, a past member of Congregation B’nai Israel, and a charter member of B’nai B’rith.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Iris (Gold); his daughter, Pamela (Michael) Frank of West Orange; two sons, Phillip (Lisa) of Colorado and Michael of Florida; and four grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 13 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to Millburn First Aid Squad (MSHVFAS), P.O. Box 226, Millburn, N.J. 07041.
