Matthew Brams, 93, of Manalapan died Aug. 10, 2012. Born in Newark, he lived in Hillside before moving to Manalapan 30 years ago.
Mr. Brams was an industrial engineer for Airborne Accessories of Hillside for over 40 years, retiring in 1984.
He was a World War II Army veteran who served in the Battle of the Bulge.
He was a former member of Congregation Sinai of Hillside, Jewish War Veterans, Disabled War Veterans, and Hadassah. He was very active in Covered Bridge II.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia (Kaplan); two sons, Michael of Apple Valley, Calif., and Richard of North Brunswick; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 12 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan.
