Max Levine
Max Levine, 86, of Jackson died May 1, 2011. He was born in Brooklyn and grew up in Howell before marrying in 1946 and settling in Lakewood.
Mr. Levine owned various businesses in Ocean and Monmouth counties.
He was involved in causes such as the Yiddish Book Club and the Vista Vocational & Life Skills Center, Westbrook, Conn.
He was survived by his wife, Pennie; two sons, Howard of Howell and Warren of Mill Valley, Calif.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held May 3 with arrangements by Belkoff Goldstein Funeral Chapel, Lakewood. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vista Vocational & Life Skills Center
