A daughter, Dylan Hannah, to MELISSA and BRAD BERTNER of Sherman Oaks, Calif., on Dec. 18, 2013. The maternal grandparents are Fern Karp Bryman of Los Angeles and the late Terry Karp. The paternal grandparents are Joyce and Jerry Bertner of Short Hills. Dylan Hannah is named in memory of her paternal great-grandmother Dorothy Gordon and her maternal great-grandfather Howard Karp.

Dylan joins a brother, Matthew.
