Meta Sonnabend
Meta Sonnabend, 104, of West Orange died Aug. 12, 2012.
Mrs. Sonnabend was the former head bookkeeper of S. Marsh and Son Jewelers.
She was the past president of Montclair Hadassah and Women’s American ORT.
Predeceased by her husbands, Jacob “Jack” Sonnabend and Jerome Sonnabend, she is survived by her daughter, Judy Shneyer; two sons, Herbert and Henry; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 15 with arrangements by J.L. Apter Memorial Chapels of Cedar Grove. Memorial contributions may be made to Hadassah, ORT, or the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
