The Federation of Greater MetroWest’s Iris Teen Mitzvot project offers “Winter Mitzvah Mania” — service projects for teens and their families.
The project called “Books for the Brave” seeks donations of a children’s book — or a recording of a video of a teen or family member reading a book — to young patients at the Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. Donations are due February 6.
“Seeds of Joy,” on Monday, February 21, at 2 p.m., is an opportunity to plant seeds in flower pots on Zoom. The potted plants will be donated to residents of Lester Senior Housing.
“Birthday Bonanza” is set for Monday, March 7, at 3:30 p.m. It will be an in-person birthday party for underprivileged children at the Elizabeth Coalition.
