Meyer London
Meyer “Mike” London, 90, of Short Hills died Oct. 19, 2017. Born in Newark, he moved to Short Hills 52 years ago.
Mr. London was a CPA employed as director of operations for several large companies. After retiring he entered the real estate business by owning and managing a garden apartment complex.
A graduate of Weequahic High School, Newark, and Rutgers University, he received a master’s degree from Montclair State College.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
A former member of Congregation B’nai Israel in Millburn and Congregation Ohr Shalom-Summit Jewish Community Center, he also belonged to a weekly discussion group at Chabad in Madison.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Bette (Hammer); his daughter, Audrey Perel of West Orange; his son, Donald of New Providence; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Services were held Oct. 24 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
