Miriam Bertan

Miriam “Minnie” Bertan (Chasin), 82, of Marlboro died Aug. 11, 2012. Born in the Bronx, she lived in Brooklyn before moving to Marlboro 25 years ago.

Predeceased by her husband, Jack R., in 2003, Mrs. Bertan is survived by two daughters, Sheryl Zukofsky of Morganville and Bonnie Placona of Marlboro; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held Aug. 13 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan.
