Miriam Ehrenkranz
Miriam Ehrenkranz (Wiskind), 93, of Hamden, Conn., died Oct. 10, 2012. Born in Newark, she was a longtime resident of West Orange before moving to Connecticut in 2007.
Mrs. Ehrenkranz worked as an administrator at Spingarn Insurance Agency.
She was very active in Hadassah and her synagogue sisterhood.
Predeceased by her husband, Robert, she is survived by her son, Richard; her daughter, Cheryl; a sister, Evelyn Weisholtz; two grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held Oct. 12 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to the Yale University School of Medicine, Division of Perinatal Medicine.
