Miriam Schwartz
Miriam Schwartz (Bornstein), 92, of Westfield died Jan. 7, 2011. Born in Newark, she lived in Elizabeth and Freehold before moving to Westfield 15 years ago.
Mrs. Schwartz was employed as a credit manager for Carlins Men’s Store in Elizabeth before retiring many years ago.
A very active member of the Westfield Senior Citizens Group Building 2, she was involved in all their committees and functions.
Predeceased by her husband, Abe, in 1985, she is survived by her son, Stephen of Fanwood, and three grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 9 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
