Models of resilience
The Jewish people’s stories teach national and religious values, but they also present models for dealing with life’s big challenges. That’s according to Rabbi Mark Biller, who will lead a two-part series called “Models of Resilience in Jewish Tradition.” The series, which is free and open to the public, will take place on Zoom at 1 p.m. on Thursdays, March 20 and 27. The series is sponsored by the West Morris section of the National Council of Jewish Women, through its Our Jewish World program, under the leadership of Ilene Dorf Manahan and Melanie Levitan, both of Morristown. Rabbi Biller will lead the discussion by examining texts, themes, and stories, and focusing on takeaway lessons to apply to our own lives. Preregistration is required for Rabbi Biller’s series. To register, email iadpr@aol.com.
