Muriel Tenenbaum
Muriel Tenenbaum, 89, of Springfield died July 18, 2018. Born in Newark, she lived in Springfield for most of her life.
Mrs. Tenenbaum was a homemaker and substitute teacher.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Kean University in 1978.
She was a member of the Springfield chapter of Jewish Women International, where she served as its president; a life member of the Springfield chapter of Hadassah; and a founding member of Temple Beth Ahm Yisrael in Springfield and member of its Women’s League. She was also a member of the Springfield Asthma Society.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph; three sons, Howard (Amy) of New York City, Steven (Meredith) of Monroe Township, and Mark of Kenilworth; and four grandchildren.
Services were held July 20 with arrangements by Ross’ Shalom Chapels, Springfield.
