Myron Krop, 90, of Boynton Beach, Fla., formerly of Springfield, died Feb. 18, 2020. He was raised in Orange.
Mr. Krop was the owner of Center Pharmacy in Hillside and was a founder of the Tabard drug cooperative.
He was a graduate of Orange High School and Rutgers College of Pharmacy.
He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He was a past national president of the Alpha Zeta Omega pharmaceutical fraternity, where he remained active until his death. He also served as president of Temple Sha’arey Shalom in Springfield, sat on the Springfield Board of Health, and was active on the Springfield Democratic Committee.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marion Weinberg Krop; two daughters, Stacey (Ritchard) Rosen and Karen (Stefanie Siegmund); his son, Richard (Cathy); seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
