Nat J. Stirberg of West Orange died Nov. 22, 2019. He grew up in Brooklyn.
Mr. Stirberg ran different business ventures, including opening an invalid coach service with one van and working in real estate with his son, John.
He received a football scholarship to Kansas State University and graduated from Fashion Institute of Technology.
He enlisted in the Army and was in the Military Police.
He is survived by his wife, Valerie; his son, Jonathan Stirberg of Holland Township; his daughter, Jessica Stirberg of New York; three stepchildren, Brian Tracy of Florida, Danielle Tracy of Bedminster, and Kevin Tracy of Watchung, and their spouses; two sisters, Miriam Kaufman of Boca Raton, Fla., and Florence Imperato of Brooklyn; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 25 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or K9s for Warriors.
