Nova survivor to speak at Friendship Circle banquet
Ron Segev, a survivor of the October 7 attack on the Nova Festival in Israel, will tell his first-hand account of the horrors at the Friendship Circle of New Jersey banquet on May 20. The annual banquet celebrates the work of Friendship Circle, providing support and daily programs at LifeTown for children and adults with special needs.
The banquet will honor Jody and Bruce Friedman,Laleh and Brian Harper, Ilene and Bruce Jacobs, and Linda and Sam Sidhu — eight extraordinary Friendship Circle supporters.
“As we continue to keep our thoughts and prayers with our brothers and sisters in Israel, it is equally important to celebrate the good in the world – and we are so blessed to be surrounded by many amazing families, volunteers and staff at Friendship Circle,” said Rabbi Zalman Grossbaum, CEO of Friendship Circle of New Jersey and LifeTown. “We are thrilled to honor eight of our amazing supporters this year, and we are grateful to have Ron Segev with us as we keep Israel front of mind.”
The banquet begins at 6 p.m. at LifeTown in Livingston. For more information or to register, go to www.fcnj.com/banquet.
