“OPIOIDS IN New Jersey, a Tragic Reality”

“OPIOIDS IN New Jersey, a Tragic Reality” — a Lunch and Learn program sponsored by National Council of Jewish Women/Essex County Section — will be held Thursday,  April 19, 12:30-2:30 p.m. at Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel in South Orange.

The featured speaker will be Jay Lassiter, writer, political consultant, social justice advocate, and the host/author of the podcast “Heroin Uncut.” 

Section president Shari Harrison said Lassiter “will address the conditions that allowed the opioid problem to take hold and the legislative and community-based actions that are needed to address the problem.”
