ORRINGER-LIBEN

Lindsay Orringer, daughter of Terri Reisman Orringer and Dr. Robert Orringer of Livingston, was married July 3, 2011, to Michael Liben, son of Sindy and Barry Liben of Livingston.

Rabbi Matthew Gewirtz performed the ceremony at the Mandarin Oriental in Manhattan. The couple, who first met when they were both 11 years old, both graduated from Livingston High School. They were engaged on a trip to Paris with the groom’s family where they were joined by the bride’s family, a surprise arranged by the groom.

The new Mrs. Liben, who earned a bachelors degree in marketing from Lehigh University, worked until recently as a publicist at RPR Marketing Communications. She will attend New York University’s Silver School of Social Work in the fall.

Mr. Liben graduated from George Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in economics and received his law degree from Fordham University’s School of Law. He is an assistant district attorney at the King’s County District Attorney’s office in Brooklyn.

The couple resides in New York City.
