Passover with Chabad Rockaway
Rabbis Asher Herson, Mordechai Baumgarten, and Mendel Stiefel and their families invite the community to their upcoming Passover seders at the Chabad Center of Northwest NJ in Rockaway Township. The seders, on the first two nights of Passover — Wednesday, April 5 and Thursday, April 6, at 8 p.m. — are led in a user-friendly way using bilingual texts. The seders include full course gourmet dinners.
“All those attending our seders, especially children, are our honored guests” Rabbi Asher Herson, the Chabad Center of Northwest NJ’s regional director, said. “It’s so meaningful to have people of all backgrounds gathering together to celebrate the seder in a comfortable and joyous atmosphere. A basic principle in Judaism is that spiritual events are absorbed differently when experienced with many people – particularly when participants embody diverse perspectives and levels of observance. This is especially so with the Passover seders. We uphold a simple, and beautiful, open door seder policy: All are welcome — and stay as long as you like!”
Traditional hand baked shmurah matzah will be available to the community. To RSVP for the seders, go to Onetorahway.org/seder. For shmurah matzah or to sell your chametz, go to Onetorahway.org/passover2023, call Rabbi Baumgarten at (973) 625-1525 ext. 202, or e-mail RabbiB@onetorah
