Pauline Feibush
Pauline Feibush, 80, a longtime Westfield resident, died Jan. 23, 2012.
Mrs. Feibush worked as a registered nurse after earning a BS degree in nursing at Syracuse University, and later worked as a visiting nurse in upstate New York.
After earning an MA in special education from Kean University, she taught special education in South Plainfield elementary schools for 20 years, and was instrumental in developing special education curricula and advocating on behalf of children with special needs.
After her retirement, she volunteered for a local soup kitchen and other community organizations.
She was a member of Temple Beth O’r/Beth Torah in Clark for over 45 years.
Predeceased in December by her husband of 58 years, Dr. Arthur, she is survived by her son, Eliot of Pennington, and two grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at Beth O’r/Beth Torah with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to the Westfield Rescue Squad, 335 Watterson St.
