Pearl Lewis
Pearl W. Lewis (Weissbard) of Boynton Beach, Fla., died Jan. 19, 2018. She grew up in Newark, later moved to Maplewood, and resided in Livingston for many years before moving to Boynton Beach in 1989.
Mrs. Lewis graduated from Weequahic High School, Newark, in 1942. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa in 1946 from University of Vermont.
She was active in National Council of Jewish Women.
Predeceased by her husband, Morton, she is survived by two sons, Jeffrey (Barbara Joan) of Oakland, Calif., and Michael of West Orange; a sister, Elaine Fein of Aurora, Colo.; a brother, Harvey Weissbard of Fairfield; and three grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 23 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to Temple B’nai Abraham, Livingston.
